My fiance and I want to go on our honeymoon to Universal Studios in Orlando at the end of April, but we are on a tight budget. Do you guys have any tips on how we could make the trip and not spend a lot of money? I did a search for Vacation Packages (4 day/3 night) but the tickets, hotel, and airfare all seem a little high.

Also, how expensive is the food and such within the park? I’ve been to Disney World quite a few times and remember how expensive everything is in there.

I’m thinking on bringing 1000 total for me and my fiance, for 5 days in disney world (for food not on the dining plan and souveniers). Does that sound about right?! If not, how much do you think?
